Hello Friends,
Just a shout out of praises to all who have and continue to support us with your resources and prayers. Besides Jesus and our families, you come in a close 3rd to our greatest blessings in 2021. Thank you personally for your help during the last 90 days in the US. I have had the privilege of resting my head on over 15 couches/beds and been loved on with more blessings than this girl can “shake a stick at”.
One of the coolest blessings is getting to reconnect “in person” with 5 churches that I consider “Home” filled with brothers and sisters who rejuvenate and fill me up with the love and grace of Christ so I can pour out on our teams aboard the ship.
Church of Christ – Vernal, Utah
Clearview Bible Church – Canton, Texas
Hillcrest Baptist Church – Kemp, Texas
Garner Baptist Church – Garner, Texas
Jay Valley Baptist Church – Longview, Texas
Next was getting to connect/work with two ministries that blow me away with the love that they share to the communities they serve. If you are looking for ways to support organizations that take the Spiritual Gifts and Blessings multiplied by the Lord and pour them out on the people, please reach out too:
Faith at Work Ministries is a Crist centered, faith-based organization purposed to eliminate hunger within our communities by providing solutions to food insecure families. You can join them on Facebook, or https://www.faithatworkministries.org
In His Hands Children Home is just getting started to provide children a safe environment to live, to be encouraged, to heal, to grow, to learn life skills and for us to share the love of Jesus. You can join them on Face book or https://inhishandschildrenhome.com.
Next was the ability to continue to support the IS team in Belgium by working remotely from lots of places in the US at a time most of you were sleeping. My workday began at 1:00 AM Central time and ended at 10:00 AM on Monday through Friday. With this remote ability and the amazing team on board, we were able to continue to be on track in the deployment of the 300+ laptops and desktops needed prior to us sailing to Rotterdam the end of February. After we complete the Public Relations Tour, we will then set sail to the Canary Islands for an additional 8 weeks of ship maintenance, computer deployments, repairs, and enhancements prior to sailing to Senegal to meet our sister ship the Africa Mercy close to the end of May.
Praises
- The immigration issues we were having have been resolved and vendors / staff are back on site.
- The Africa Mercy is scheduled to leave for Senegal to continue our mission of over two years ago.
- I should arrive onboard the ship January 29th.
Continued Prayer for –
- The crew of all our ships, that they would feel the presence of the Lord and see His hand knocking down the strongholds against them. Let us look for Him each day in every task, trial and temptation with a smile on our face to the joy of His victory over our circumstances.
- To special friends and family that are on my prayer list and yours for restoration, healing, salvation, and reconciliation of relationships with Christ and each other.
- In Thanksgiving for all those who have supported me in the past, may the blessing you have provided me be multiplied, pressed down, shaken and overflowingly given back to you that you may know Christ is our creator and provider in all ways, opportunities, and resources.
May the Lord Bless You day and bring Joy to your life. — In Gods Love, Mendy
